Warm: Warcraft III, $30.44

"Hybrid" I'm not sure I want to know what that means. Last time I purchased an unusual item like this, the manual and such were printed in Thai. Eeek. Buyer be aware.

Hybrid means it will install on the PC and MAC, that's all. It's the real game.

Sounds like hybrid here means the game will work for both windows and mac. Usually software makers package a separate copy of the game for windows and package a different version of the game for mac. gogamer.com is a pretty good site. I doubt they will send you a manual in a foreign language. =)

Compuexpert (aka gogamer.com) is an excellent outfit. I've bought many games over the last few years from them, never a problem. Fast 2-day shipping.

This is a great deal.

I too bought this a couple weeks ago from NothingButSoftware.com for 34ish.

I saw this post and went back there and they have it for $29.95 and you get to pick which box you want. The product page is HERE

The shipping is cheaper at NBS also. I recieved my game in 2 days, and my transaction was very good with them.

Just thought you might want to know....

I bought some kind of Civ3 CD from them and while the writing on the back of the CD was in Thai, the game and manual were in English.

I had the same great experience at Nothingbutsoftware, shipped the next day, got it the next monday (shipped friday).

Will buy from them again, and now that you can pick your box, its a damn good deal 😛

Smarty! 😀

I figured 'hybrid' meant, as the 'ad' displayed, PC/MAC....may've been a weird version that was made, or it may be fake.

'S allright...I'm seein 'if Staples 'll pricematch AllButHardware place too......keep you posted.

EDIT: Just got off the phone with Staples.....guess the Anandtech Effect has caused a policy change with Staples.

Oh they'll pricematch at $29.95 (EverythingButNotHardware), no problem. Catch is, they're PMing the price + $19.95 overnight shipping, 'cos that's standard shipping (if you're within 20 miles of a store) for Staples. Gak. AND they're charging tax. EEEeek.

Just bought it from EverythingButNotHardware for $35.90....I can wait a few more days.

Thanks guys!
