TY = taiyo yuden, CDR = compact disc recordable, CC = circuit city, OTD = out the door

KEYWORDS: INSTANT REBATE, POSSIBLE TAIYO YUDEN, PRICEMATCH possibilities at BB and staples

it's a warm deal, the only reason i am posting it is because it is an INSTANT rebate, $40 - $20 = $20.

These is only a deal because there is a chance of them being TY CDRs, look for the new 2 piece 100 pack TY style packaging. the picture on their website is the TY style packaging. dont forget to double check the "made in japan" label. take ad to other stores for pricematch possibilities. i have personally seen the 100pc TY made memorex CDRs at staples and best buy (especially with the % of difference). YMMV with the pricematch, but it should work since this is a real ad, and not outrageously cheap.

Ok just for your info the TY disks are the ones made in Japan. They also have different packaging then the new ones. Also I cleared out the Industry Hills CC just the other day. They only had 5 of the TY packages there. Unless of course they had more at the back. But I didn't ask so you could go try it again

like i said, it's a better deal if you can find the TY memorex at BB or staples and pricematch. NO REBATES involved.

I've had problems with Memorex TY's. They have this white film label that has not done well in heat. I've had bubbling and oevrall destruction of the CD's themselves....stay with Fuji.

Yup, but when it's an instant rebate it's like a price reduction, you don't have to send away any paperwork.

i think he's talking about getting the pm AND the rebate -- which definitely would make it hotter

Bestbuy.com has FujiFilm 100pk for 26.99 free shipping. 50pk is 13.79 i beleive.

I only say this because CC.com has the 100pk memorex for 39.99 with $25 in rebates.
