Warm to Hot : Call of Duty for PC $16.99

I saw this as well but was wondering when they would have it in stock... the $5 more to get it from bestbuy might be worth it instead. add shipping and its only a few dollars more because of tax but you get it right then. I wonder who will have it for less than BB @ 24.95. That original game price is hot though!

Use the $5 off coupon on the back of the Gamers Gift Card packaging from Best Buy and get it for $19.95.

Could you elaborate on that? Where is the Gamers Gift Card?

Also, anyone know if that is the price that the local Fry's will charge?

According to the Call of Duty site, the United Offensive expansion pack comes out today. Awesome.

The Gamers Gift Card is basically a gift card found near the games section (my local BB has them near the Play Station 2 games). Anyways, you take the card up to the register and put an amount on it as if you were going to give the gift card to someone. I usually put $5 or less on it. On the back of the card packaging (a CD jewel case) is an insert with a $5.00 coupon good for any game over $19.99. Use the gift card and the coupon to get discounted price. You might have to leave the store after buying the Gamers Gift Card and then go back inside and to another cashier to make the game purchase since some cashiers can be asses about letting you use the Gamers Gift Card and coupon since it's suppose to be given to someone other than yourself, even though it doensn't say that anywhere.

Also, make sure the coupon on back isn't expired. I found several that expired on 12/31/2003. I later looked around some and found a bunch that don't expire until 12/31/2004.

Price is Tempting but, I already have MOH and BF1942.. How does this compare?? Would I be bying more of the same basically??

This game ROCKS and does not compare to the IMHO lowgrade 1942...I have both and have not touched 1942 since getting COD..
You MUST get this game to have @ least had the pleaser of playing online and feeling the power of WINNER of OVER 80 Game of the YEAR Awards and 50 Editors' Choice Awards
This game by far is BAD@SS,I drooled to hear of the Expansion Pack...

I agree, I've played MOH and BF 1942, and they both sucked compared to COD. The SP game was really great, and MP just rocks.

DAMN!!! I waited and now it's $29.99 and "Available for Preorder" for United Offensive. Original game is still $16.99..

Oh well back to Bf1942 for me...

I don't know about that...I just bought BF1942 Deluxe Edition (comes with RTR) and I'm enjoying the game a lot🙂! Especially since I only paid $10 for both (Regular price at most b&m stores is $20 and I had the $10 off coupon for CC in PC Gamer). I've got in running on a 3-pc lan and it's a party pleaser🙂

I played all of Call of Duty and am playing United Offensive now. This is the best game I have ever played. I have Medal of Honor War Chest. I like it but it does not compare to Call of Duty. Graphics are great on my Leadtek A400 GT.

Call of Duty is the probably the only game I have ever played and gotten bored with before I finished it. The SP is rather monotonous and bland and can't compete with Medal of Honor in any way. MP is alright, but still not great. And you can't really compare CoD to BF1942, they are two totally different styles of games. CoD did bring a few interesting aspects to the WW2 Genre of games, but not enough to drag it out of it's slow paced gameplay.

Maybe I'm just biased, but I think MoH:AA is possibly the best WW2 FPS game ever...maybe the best FPS overall as well (then again, I'm a MoH junkie...so maybe I'm just a little wierd)
