Picked one up as well. If you sacrifice functionality for a bling-bling case, you've got your priorities out of whack IMO. Thanks for the heads up OP. Kam seems a tad obsessive with these Hot Deals, almost competitive. It's not a competition, we appreciate when you post a good deal, but it's stupid to crap on someone else's hot deal, specially with the flame you posted here about a "chrome" bling-bling case.

This looks pretty much like the original sonata ... except the power supply upgrade and the interior air flow thing...

I have the sonata and it's really nice (got it for $65 AR last year). The metal is nice and thick...and the finish is nice. The door is a little flimpsy but i've hit it lots of times and it's still in tack. It's a lil heavy when complete...but i can handle ... and i don't move it much. The fan connector that slows down the fan is pretty nice also...keeps it quiet.

The case is nice and quiet... i would have gotten this... but no point upgrading ...maybe i can get it for my gf or my lil bro....

nice deal!

Well, it's basically the same chassis as the original Sonata (and that was built off the 3000 series cases). Some major points of the "II" case are: no more stamped "Antec" perforations at the top of the side panels, these tend to suck in dust in an otherwise low-dust system (due to the front filter); newer PCIe compatible PSU, upped to 450W; CPU/GPU vent on the side panel; rear 120mm fan changed to new tri-cool; front door hinge swings back even more now so you won't knock it off if you hit it by accident; they also give you a polishing cloth (!!!) for the case, what a great finishing touch.

If you get it for your gf or little brother, I'd suggest swapping your parts into this case and giving them the old Sonata 😀

Tempting. I already have one system in a Sonata I (with the newer PSU wiht 12V@24A) and I have the parts to begin assembling an Opteron 165 system but don't have a case for it yet.
