I've seen these as low as $15, found it here for $10. Shipping for me was a hair under $7, still not a bad deal. I ordered a pair for my BP6.

Just change the "subscriber" part to "forums."

If you know how to edit your HOSTS file, you can just do it once and never worry about it again.

Or subscribe 😀

The prices appear to be the same - $9.95. They're not cheaper...I live in California, so shiping is probably less to closer addresses.

Yeah, I was trying to say this same one is sold at a lot of places and there has been discussion about them before for those who wanted to find out a bit more.

actually, it looks like he was trying to help, saying it was a valid product, "I'm using it right now on an ASUS CUV4X-C".
plus linking to other threads where people discussed troubleshooting info and such

I heard it works well on BP6 boards...I hope it does. There's something sexy about more than one CPU, even if it is just for effect. 😀

FYI:
On the BP6 (GREAT BOARD!) you MUST put Pentium 3's in it to run SMP-no Celeron after the original PPGA Celerons will do SMP. Also, last I heard, the BP6 had trouble with the power requirements of dual P3's (but one is supposed to work fine) and would be unstable, but let us know if you have good luck with it.
