If you're into Plasma Displays, check out Sam's Club. They have a Daewoo 42 for $2200.

These low-end plasmas can only do 852x480, so no HDTV.

If you have this much to spend I'd seriously consider a bit more for a DLP device.

i agree. non-hd plasmas are not the best idea, bc DLP units, such as the samsung HLN series can be had for not much more, or its better to save for a native hd panel.
