This is a great player. I got it 2 months back.
Works great. No complains. Plays CDRs/MP3/VCD and
ofcourse DVD. I love it. Got it for $179 at costco.
If you are looking for a great player at this cost,
this is it.

hey yah, anyone know any hacks for this dvd player? i kinda wanted to buy some dvds from china (really cheap) except they dont play on american dvd players, so i had to buy crappy quality vcds. ANyways, this dvd player ROCKS. My uncle has a Sony one which is supposed to be around the same, but it couldnt play some things that the panasonic one can play. I jumped on this deal back when it was 200 and there was a $30 coupon floating around. It's a GREAT player for the price. I was about to pay 200 for it until the coupon came up. Best bang for the buck.
