The company kinda sucks with customer service and is slow with shipping from what ive heard. The good news? I live in the same town as them (Gainesville, FL) so ill be on their doorstep bitching up a storm if there is any problems 😀
 
Well

I have a Orinoco Gold Card and it works perfectly. Just dont use the driver that came with ur operating system. But use the upgrade driver from Orinoco.

I give 2 thumbs up for this card.

 
OK, just upgraded the title from tepid to warm.

I have a few Orinoco USB Gold cards and use a US Robotics for PCMCIA. The USR gets marginal reception, so I figured at this price it was time to upgrade.😀

Did you know that you can unsnap the case of the external USB Orinoco's and there's a PCMCIA card inside? You just unplug it from it's USB adapter and you've got a card to go in your notebook. Plug it back into the base when you're done and snap the cover back on. The tabs for the base are located under the rubber pads on the bottom. Pretty cool 😎

I got that link from Pricegrabber, so you can get it from there Just type "Orinoco Gold". The EMS link on pricegrabber shows the price + shipping, but shipping is free today.... or was free when I place my order.

Got it to work thanks. It was weird for a second their searching didn't work right but it works right not. Curiously enough they have the Avaya version for $62, although it is out of stock. I think it's the same thing.
