I've been looking for a 2300dl because its a cheap color laser and was PC editor's choice. I found this one for $724 after $50 rebate and $25 instant rebate. Is this good or can someone find a better deal?

That's pretty good... though if you print any quantity at all, I'd go with the free printer throug Xerox. I got one for our company and the thing is amazing! Our quota is 2150 pages per month and we easily print 6k, so no biggie. I calculated the costs out and we are out just over $40 a month is ALL of our costs (including the paper which we get locally) all ink included! Very fast too, 16ppm in color or B&W. Best part, all you pay for is the color ink when you need it, with a maintenance kit every 2 years ($200). At the end of 3 years, the printer is yours...

Not thread crapping, but letting me people know about it if you print more than a thousand sheets a month. This printer is limited to 4ppm color...

I don't think I'll be doing that much quantity. I think 4ppm color is good for a printer this cheap. Supposedly the quality on this one is excellent. I read the PC Mag. reviews on this one and its supposed to have much better quality than the HP equiv. Its suppose to be a great deal for the base price too.

I just don't know about Xerox. Does the Xerox one come with a NIC too?

Just bought one (Magicolor 2300). The rebate expires today so I needed to get it.

This is on sale at staples with a $100 rebate starting sunday.. I picked up this printer for $599 on the president day

Yes, the Xerox is a network printer... it does duplex printing and comes with an extra 500 page tray.
