I got preview e-mail from OM, like few of us do. On the front page it lists Olympus D-370 $120 + tax starting 04/14. Possibly could be $95 if you find coupon $25 off $100. PM me if you find coupon code. Is this a good camera for $120($95)? Pricewatch.com range around $150. Any review on this camera?

Wow! that would be Hot! Olypus is a great camera too ... never heard any bad things about 370. Boy I bought a Digicam at the wrong time! they just keep getting cheaper😛
 
That's a great camera. I have an Oly 360, the 370 is just the updated model. I think it has USB instead of serial download (but it's best
to use a Smart Media card reader either way). It's nice sized, takes great pictures for a point and shoot, and lets you
vary settings like white balance, exposure comp, etc.

And, for < $100 it's a steal!!

At 1.3 MP, you should be able to make decent 3x5's and 4x6's. Nice deal! Great first camera, or for a "glove compartment"camera.

Man I am pissed, I am trying to get 4% ebates and $25 off by entering the code in the Cart page. But When i go through ebate the Box disapear by enabling cookies, But if I disable cookie to to get to the cart without goin through ebates then Box came up. because I guess no one can get through ebates without enabling cookies. Can anyone find how to get both discounts. It will save additional $4 (4 % OM from ebates) for this deal 🙂 since the total for camera is $100 with tax

i called in last nite around 12:15 and they matched the store price (119) and gave me the coupon as well.. btw u need two lithium batteries, 1 of them will fit 2 AA slots..

Does anyone know if OM does that "buy online, pickup in store" deal like Staples, OD, or BB? Delivery to my apartment is sketchy at best (they always seem to come by when I'm in class).
 
Is the CRV3 a propietary battery for this Olympus? Can I get it cheaper elsewhere? Because 2 of those would cost an extra $20 plus tax.

Is it better to get rechargeable batteries, or use the CRV3 batteries?

you can get it at office depot, target, officemax, best buy, probably anywhere they sell oly cams. this cam uses alkalines as well... or lithium aa also. the crv3 is expensive anywhere afaik (if not, someone please post deal)

up to one's discretion. lithium last longer, but when kaput, kaput. rechargeables take time to charge (1 hour to 15, depending on charger used), and they are NOT charged when just taken out of the package, like alkalines and lithium. it's good to have at LEAST one set (two pairs) of alkalines or lithium on a trip though.
