I got this because I have so many videos and books that they are three deep on my current bookshelfs so that I can't see all the titles. For this price, don't expect outstanding quality, but as long as you don't move them too often, they should probably hold up OK.
 
for the price i dont expect it to be solid oak.

Obviously for $26 per shelf, they are not solid oak. They are simple particle board with an oak like finish. For the price, I think they are an excellent deal. It gives you a ton of storage space for videos and books. Putting them together is fairly easy and doesn't involve any tools. They seem fairly solid, considering the material and the tool-less installation. I don't think you are going to find more storage space for cheaper than this.
 
I got these the last time this deal showed up here - they are decent quality particleboard bookcases, VERY VERY easy to put together (like shockingly easy - takes about 5 mins). Well worth the price; reasonably heavy-duty and stable.

These bookcases are surprisingly sturdy and easy to put together. I got them at this price and they arrived last week or something. They're really heavy and don't look like they'll fall apart any time soon. This is an amazing deal.
