kliza23, I don't think so. I went looking around at sunnbattery
and only found this maha charger...

Thec and d charger

The "famous" C204F charger is just a tiny bit of a thing, doubt
there is any way it can be fitted with an adaptor.

hth.

Although you could make your own probably, I doubt it would hurt to wire up something that would do C/D stuff, since its the same voltage, its the 9v batts that would crap it out.

Also, I already have this charger (and LOVE it, its got really fast charges, often just an hour or 2 after I drain it with the digicam), so for me the newegg deal for $16 free shipping on 4 batts would be a bit better. Actually, probably that thomas place (I've ordered from them before) has as good or better deals on just the batteries, and on better batteries like the 1800 ones. But yes, this is a good deal. I have a set of the 1600s and one of something else (1700 or 1800 I think) and I can't tell a whole lot of differance between them.

Jeez, that maha c777P is something!! I've never even seen something like that! Thanks for the link, even if it is just to gaze in wonder at it :)

Well I took RossMan's advice and bought it from eBay. Came out to $45.50 shipped for 8 batteries and the charger. Pretty good deal!

I have 1800MA AA batteries for my digital camera, but I'm looking for the highest capacity AAA batteries for some other toys. All I'm finding is 700MA AAAs. Are there higher capacity rechargeables available in this size battery?

So how much of a difference is there between getting the 1600 mAH batteries that come with the MAHA C204F at Newegg and the 1800 mAH batteries that come with C204F at Sunn Battery? Are we talking like 10% or less difference in the actual number of pictures you can take? I'm trying to decide between spending $30 at Newegg or $45 at Sunn Battery through Ebay.

Good deal if you're just getting the charger and four batteries. If you are looking to pick up extra batteries, you may find it to be a better deal to buy from Sunn Battery. NewEgg's price on the 4AA's is a bit high compared to Sunn.

I priced the charger, 16 additional AAs, and 4AAAs at newegg at $112 delivered.
Same at Sunn was about $81 (flat $5.50 S&H per order).

bump for a great charger (MAHA c204F) - I just picked this up w/car adapter and 4 Powerex 1800 mah batts from Thomas Distributing for about $45.00 (shipping included) a few weeks ago.

For $15.00 savings, you get the 1600mah instead of 1800mah - which isn't a big deal, definately worth it - free fed-ex shipping - can't beat that all for $30.00.

I just can't believe I was living without re-chargeable batteries for this long, like the other post said if you haven't upgraded to rechargeable batteries, this is a great deal. The MAHA C204F is considered to be one of the best out there.

<< Just get 1600mAh, not worth $15 extra IMHO. >>

I totally agree. If the difference were smaller like $5 or less shipping included then I would get the 1800 mAH's. Otherwise I'd buy the 1600 mAH's from Newegg with free shipping.

Yesterday I was ordering a second AC adapter for my Creative Nomad Jukebox, (Linky) when I noticed they had the Maha C204F, with 4 NiMH batteries, for $29.95. The batteries are labeled for Creative, but when I checked the batteries in my Jukebox, they are 1800 mAH. Additional packs of 4 batteries are $9.99. Shipping is high for small orders ($7.12 for my adapter), but when I added on a couple packs of batteries it didn't go up

VT,

Thanks.. now what about mixing Powerex and Nexcells in appliances? I know the maha charger comes with Powerex ones but Nexcells are cheaper to buy in small packs. Most battery manufacturers don't recommend mixing different batteries but I assume with these nimh's, you can safely mix them if they're all charged up.

Here is my candidate for "best battery charger ever." As you can see in the link, I have company in these claims! I like this one so much, I almost bought an extra for backup in case mine ever fails in the future. All operations and functions can be viewed on its LCD screen when they are happening.

Aww man... if only I had seen this yesterday. I just bought an Energizer rechargable kit (standard charger and 4x1700mAh AA batteries). The thing took 15 hours to charge the four batteries!!! Oh well, I always assumed I'd have to buy more than one charger and more than four batteries. Especially since my peripherals eat batteries like nothing else (keyboard, mouse, mp3 player, digicam).
