Newegg has the 3 hour MAHA C204F smart charger with dc car adapter and 4 AA 1600mah ni-mh batteries for only $29 plus free Fed Ex Saver Shipping here.

Thomas Distributing has this similar package for $31.97 plus shipping
Sunnbattery has a similar package for about $32.75 plus shipping

Free FED EX Saver Shipping saves you about 7-10 dollars total at Newegg.com

Just ordered me this package for my digital camera and mp3 cd player. I've heard this charger is the best and alot better than the panasonic charger that was at Costco.

This MAHA charger is absolutely the best on the market. It's well worth whatever Thomas Distributing sells it for, but if you can get it cheaper, have at it! Might want to upgrade to the new 1800mah batteries though...the are AWESOME in my digital cam!

Bump for an excellent deal and some of the best NiMH's on the market. I would buy this but I'm probably going to buy the new 1800 mAH Gold Peak's 8 AA + MAHA C204F 3 Hour Smart Charger + car adapter for $39.99 from SunnBattery.com through their eBay auction (ptron1).

Bump for a great price and product. I used this all the time for my Coolpix 950... But Nikon had to go and change the battery type with the 995... :(

Thomas Distributing is also a great company. That's where I got my MAHA gear.

Thanks! I was in the market for rechargeable batteries because my Riovolt eats AA alkaline batteries like peanuts.

Someone PM'd me regarding my Gold Peak 1800 mAH post, here's some additional info:

This awesome rechargeable battery review is worth a read and even bookmarking!

I've had nothing but luck buying from SunnBattery.com/ptron1 (do a CTRL F and search for 8 AA GOLD PEAK 1800MAH) and Thomas-Distributing.com

Here's a good ATOT thread worth reading and posting to.

just got my charger today and charged the batteries up. Took less than 3 hours. Batteries workign great in my digital camera and Riovolt sp-100 so far. If you haven't switched over to rechargeables, do it now!

I agree with everyone here, the MAHA C204F is one of (if not) the best charger on the market. I got mine around x'mas, and use NiMH batteries for my digital camera and some other toys. In many cases, the rechargeable NIMH batteries will last almost twice as long as Alkaline disposable batteries (yes, the ones YOU have been using all of your life, like Duracell and Energizer batteries). The reason is simple, NiMH batteries can deliver a constant 1.2V of energy throughout their entire charge, while Alkaline start at 1.5V and drop below 1V as their energy is being drained out (once the batteries can't support a minimum voltage, then your device will either slow down or stop functioning, like for cd players and walkman). If you haven't switched over yet, do it and start saving money!

I still remember the first few weeks I was using a Nikon Coolpix 990, and I had to change the batteries every 30 minutes LOL :p I wasted easily a good $30 on batteries (could've just bought the MAHA then if I only knew).

Yes... these are perfect for GBA. I use 1600MAH Nexcells with a Maha C204F, and they last quite a while. You can use the money you save by recharging for some more games.

This is an AWESOME price on this superb charger, and Newegg is always reliable for me. I'd buy one if I didn't already have one. Why anyone would need a "better" charger than the 204F is beyond me. For day-to-day use, it's the best I've ever owned.

I have one of these chargers and several sets of 1800 mha batteries. I went out the other day and shot 100 shots over a day period with the LCD display turned on - my Casio QV4000 digital camera battery indicator never moved off full. It's the way to go.

This is an excellent "hot deal". We have the maha charger to do batteries
for our eight year old daughter's gameboy. She's a fanatic but even with
hours of play each day, once a week she swaps to two recharged batteries
and never runs out of "juice". At a possible 500-1000 recharges, the four
batteries should be good for, ummm, 20 years or more! Hot!

The teeny-tiny charger is very well built too.
Free shipping makes this a great opportunity.

Do they make an adaptor like the rayovacs, that lets you charge C and D batteries to? That would be great... Please let me know if someone knows...

Thanks all :)

Hot deal!

I got a charger and a set of batteries with my Olympus digicam, but bought extra rechargeable's from Thomas Distributing for my camera and other various things that use "AA" rechargeable batteries. I use the batteries in my Rio Volt and in my cordless keyboard and mouse. I have recommended the Maha charger to many that didn't get a charger or batteries packaged with their digicam's and they have all been pleased. I will probably get one because I have a few things that need "AAA" batteries and it makes sense to finally go with a rechargeable set up with those items.

Thomas Distributing is great, but since they are in Illinois, I'm tired of getting nicked for shipping and state tax, so I'll probably order from Newegg.
