Debating getting an mx510 or another 500, got a 1000 and just didn't like it so returned it, still need another mouse though. I'm happy with my current 500, and might go for another 500 for my second comp since it'd be cheaper, but this isn't a bad price for the 510.

I got the MX700 for $30 AR shipped from Amazon.com a while ago. Is the 510 better? coz it's more expensive....

IMO the 510 / 500 are better for FPS gaming since they weigh less. There is also an internal weight that can be easily removed. The only tradeoff is having to deal with a mousecord.

The MX510 is supposedly more accurate (probably splitting hairs though ). I picked the 510 so I don't have to deal w/batteries or charging them. User preference i guess.
