What do you guys think? Is this a good deal? I really need a nice new monitor, and at this price I could possibly get two. But some reviews on newegg are very negative, claiming poor brightness, poor viewing angles and inaccurate colors. Tan again, there's plenty of folks very happy with it. Worth the risk? Wait for Black Friday? Opinions?

A 27" IPS panel for under $200 is a good price, but is it a good deal? You probably shouldn't take the plunge on a 27" 1920x1080 monitor without seeing it up close. There comes a point where screen sizes are too big for a given resolution and for my eyes 24" is the biggest display that looks okay at 1080.

Pretty good price considering it's a 27" IPS and it's from a decent brand as well...

However, GagHalfrunt makes a good point... That is something I would definitely have to see and consider when purchasing a monitor of that size.
