My first deal!

Lexmark is currently offering a $30 rebate on the Z42, their entry photo printer. I've seen it at Staples for $89. Use the recently posted $10 off $40, and the rebate, and it's $49.

The Z42 is their entry photo printer, the others (Z43, Z52, Z53) being faster.

If the included cartridges are "real" and not starters, then it's most likely worth it.

Note that this is not intended to start an emotional of Lexmark versus HP and Epson and others!

Here's a link to the product page:

Ok, maybe a way to get it even cheaper.

First, get the American Greetings promo for $19.95. See this thread

Even if you forget about the cards and stuff, you get $50 in Flooz.

Outpost sells the Z42 for 89.99.

89.99 + 19.95 (A.G. promo) + 7.00 shipping (approx) - $50 Flooz - $30 rebate = 36.94 final!

And you still get the cards and stuff from American Greetings!

This is fun!

Good post.

You can add Microsoft Acheron?s Call V1.0 CD (Search for "IM1179718") to your order (Looks like it is back in stock)and use $25 off $100 coupon. Acheron is priced at $20.99 and comes with $20 rebate

This way u can get it for $35.97 + Free Shipping!

My parents bought this and I put it together for them. The cartridges are real and not starters. It's printout is pretty good for the price. One thing to remember is that these printers have no CPU in them, meaning your system needs to do more work to print. Kind of like the same difference between WinModems and regular Modems. Well this printer can be considered a WinPrinter...hehe. I wouldn't put it on a system you are stressing already, but should be fine for most any system. Not a bad deal.

Actually, it's not a bad deal even if you just get it for the ink! Lexmark has never used "starter" cartridges, it's only HP that pulls that little scam, AFAIK.
