I bought an XP-9e at walmart for $230 after tax in August. It's an awesome monitor! (it's CRT, not flat panel) It has very nice image and text quality (not too far from a dell trinitron). It makes a great gaming monitor as well. Great price if you're looking to upgrade to 19".

EDIT: It does 1600X1200 at 75 hz (try and beat that samsung 955df!!) And it's not a true flat screen monitor, if you look closely you will notice it is a curved screen but there is a flat screen in front to reduce glare and fool you into thinking it is a true flat screen.

yeah i noticed that the screen was not totally flat if you look at the sides..it's just a flat piece of glass in front to fool people... hence the cheap price.

I bought one of these a few months ago and had to return it because of an "off-color" area in the lower right hand part of the screen. I bought it online and had to pay the return shipping, but I got it replaced w/o any hassle. Probably better to buy it locally, so you can return it w/o any expense if you need to.

FYI: If you buy something off of www.walmart.com, your local walmart store will and is supposed to return it if there is a problem. I returned an air conditioner that was dented in shipping this way.

Also, the 17" at walmart is $129, used to be $159.

the 17" flat screen KDS monitors (xtreme, or whatever) are on clearance at my local walmarts in chicago for $117.

i have been seeing those prices fall when i go to check out their clearance stuff, i think the 15 inch flat panel r comeing down as well, they had some burners also on clearance a few days ago, but ymmv on their clearance stuff

Mine says "Extreme Flat" on it and it is a 19XFe. Yes it is flat, as flat as an LCD and better image quality to boot. Mine was like $160 right from KDS.

It's not flat like the trinitron tubes it uses dynaflat. Its just a little curved with a flat piece of glass over the curved surface. They have this at officedepot for 199.99, Free shipping. I recall a 15% coupon off somewhere too, you guys gotta find that.
