Warm: Inspiron 1100 ~ $598

I am kind of new to looking for a NEW Notebook... How often do deals like this come along where a person could get a new Dell for less than $600??

I don't need a performer, I really need something reliable...I have been using a Pentium 200, which suits my needs just fine, problem is its about worn out..
 
Lately these deals (under $600) seem to be coming about once a week for this particular model. Could just be holiday specials though.

I grabbed the one from Rasputinj's page, a Inspiron 1100 for $575 w/free shipping. Hopefully I will be using it for several years 🙂
