Their website is retarded, and says both pata and sata if you look closely, in store it is the pata model. Or at least this was true 2 months ago, when I was contemplating this deal.

well, I jumped! When i made my purchase, the cashier attached extra recipes to my rebates(60 dollars worth instore). AFter i made my purchase, I walked over to customer service and presented the walmart.com printout and asked for a price match.

The cashier was kinda lazy and was about to giveup because she could'nt find Walmart on the "list", so another cashier help her out and they credited back 24+ bucks back to my card.

Now I have seperates reciptes for the rebates and hopefully I will be able to get the rebate from CC.

Thats an excellent drive . Fast and whisper quite . I hate rebates and could give a hoot in hell about them . I bought that drive at retail and am well pleased . Good luck with your dealing.

Got my $40 Seagate rebate yesterday. According to Circuit City's rebate website:

Check Information Number Amount Mail Date Date Cleared
0 $30.00 10/01/2005 (est.)

It's been approved :)
