In the ad it says nothing about a rebate, only "save $80" off of original price.

Whoa, seriously? The $50 rebate is over, but could those of us who bought it when it was $150 with $50 rebate get a price adjustment?

If you bought this drive recently take in the reciept with the ad and they should refund the difference.

IF this is the HP9350i rewriter, it's a great deal. I PM'd on Jan 31st for $149.99 - my final total after rebate and coupons was $65. With the price adjustment it should be $15.00!

BTW, it's a great rewriter. Although it's not Burn-Proof, I made no coasters. It is compatable with CloneCD and I have been able to back up all of my games (except Alice which seems to have a tighter copy protection built in).

HELL YEAH!!!

I just called in and PRICEMATCHED for the second time at STAPLES. :) My first total was 125 including tax, and now it is just 7x.xx Dollars!!! SWEETI! Minus the mail in rebate that makes it just less than 25 Dollars for this hell of a writer!

GO STAPLES! :)

Sebastian. :)

Oh, and I used a 30 off 150 coupon before, but the nice guy let me switch to a 30 off 100 (which is probably not allowed to be posted) - so don't worry ss284! :)

Have a nice day,

Sebastian. :)

I have to agree with everyone who says that this is a great drive.
I've had mine for about 1 year and have had no problems with it.
Now I don't use it all that often, basically just for back-up of my original games.

And Yes - i did pay a LOT more for this drive back then.

OfficeMax Ad for HP 10/4/32 CDRW

I posted this in the other thread for the same drive but being that this one seems to be more popular with you guys I am posting it again. Above is the link with the OfficeMax Ad so that it may be PM'ed at Circuit City.

Thank You, Drive Through

where is the $50 rebate?

BTW, I never try PM before, I don't know how to PM with an officemax ad.
Just tell staples I saw an ad, then send them the copy of the ad?

Bastards at my closing Office Max won't honor sales ads. Well then take down your damn Office Max sign and put up Uncle Vinny's Cutthroat Liquidators - '10% off a 200% mark up'. The same drive was $200. What a joke. Their prices make Best Buy really look like a good buy. I hope the liquidators wind up eating the merchandise. Nope, I'm not bitter. :D
