This is my first post on the forum. Staples is selling a cannon PC 420 copier for $200.

$200 for Copier
-$50 instant savings *note&
-$40 instant coupon found on techbargains
-$50 rebate
TOTAL of $60 for copier & no s/h.

Note: The code number listed on the page was not valid. So I called them and they told me that after recieving the order confirmation via email, reply back and tell them about the coupon code and staples will refund the $50 back to your credit card.

Seems like they are giving these away to get you to buy the toner cartridges. Replacement cartridges are $98+ at Staples, more than the copier. Plus, in the description of the copier they say "starter cartridge" which I read as "10% total copies of REAL cartridge". Not sure yet if I think this is a deal or not.

I don't know much about copiers CyBrShRk, but how much do replacement cartridges usually cost for other copiers? If they are all around $98 then it seems like a good deal.

for these personal photocopiers, its almost better just to get a laser fax machine and use it as a photocopier...

staples also had a canon fax which also functions as a copier for $20 after rebates and coupons, and is more versatile...

It seems to be very good deal and it expires today, but I don't think you will get both 50 and 40 off thoug. You may end up paying $~100. check it out.

One per customer. Not valid with any other offer. No cash or credit back. Please enter coupon code at time of order. Coupon value does not include tax. Instant savings expires 11/25/00. Mail-in rebate expires 12/30/00.
