no...HDMI is essentially DVI with integrated audio channels.

Debating whether to get this or not. The number of reviews with dead pixels makes me pause, though. Newegg reviews aside, how is Hanns-G quality in general? Would be doing a lot of gaming on it.

I had a Hanns-G 27" LCD a few years ago, and was really impressed. It's a pretty good monitor... and at that price, you really can't beat it.

My 28" hannsg is going on 3 years and still no problems. Had one stuck pixel which fixed itself.
