Not to thread crap, but the controllers are 29.99 at B&Ms now - and looking at their shipping, they not only have shipping but handling, and they say to allow 3-20 (!!!) days for delivery. I think I'd rather run to a BB and walk out with one. If you PMed this to Sears it might work, though.

Uhhh...what review site?
Everything I've seen has been almost nothing but praise for the Wavebird

What?? get your facts straight i havent seen any negative reviews for theses things, and I am an owner of 2, and i love them, and have no complaints. Note: i am 100% sure wavebirds DO NOT have a rumble feature so i think they messed up on their product page.

EDIT: they have some good prices on a few games, but i see no reselleratings also i saw only negative comments from a google search. Also the seem to charge more than retail on some items ie. NGC AV CABLE (Game Cube) when they say it retails for 4.99 they charge 6.99 ! I would stay away for now to be safe.

I also own a Wavebird, have never seen a bad review, and this is absolutely the best implementation of a wireless controller I've ever had the pleasure of using. It's true that there is not currently a Wavebird with the rumble feature, nor are there any available in colors (other than gray) yet, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend buying one of these to anyone. They are very high quality, and work (and feel) just like the original GCN controller. Just no annoying wires. They don't even eat batteries very quickly.

Well, I read everything I could find about them and the ONLY negative comment I ever read was that they do not have the rumble feature.

Why don't you give us a link to these bad reviews because of the 8 reviews I read, exactly 0 were bad reviews.

Just used mine for the first time tonight. I hardly noticed the Rumble before. So for me, the only difference is instead of being hunched forward on the couch or sitting on the floor closer to the TV, i'm laid back like a mofo and lovin' it!

I seriously can't tell the difference. This thing is BAD A$$!!!!!

I havent seen anything but perfect reviews for these things... so I think you may be mixed up a little :)

Also, just so everyone knows, the nintendo wavebird does NOT hacve rumble feature.. this website falsely advertises this feature.

Way to be an idiot and give people a false impression.

If you go to BB, they're like $29.99, open up a Netflix DVD case (they're free), there is a $5 off any Gaming device over $19.99. Walk out with it for $24.99 + tax. If you can PM to your local KB, then you get:

24.99 PM
- 110% PriceMatch
- $5 Coupon
--------------------
17.50 + tax :)

These aren't Wavebirds....

There's a third party wireless controller now. From what I've read they're good as well...it's just that the analog isn't QUITE as good and the d-pad feels cheap. Can't remember where I read the review...do some hunting and you'll find info about these. Might start at www.gamesarefun.com?

yeah, all the offical nintendo stuff is of such great quality, I would rather pay the small price difference and have a real nintendo product.

Just bought my second Wavebird today, in fact. $29.99@BB, I grabbed a $5 off $19.99 accessories coupon from the Netflix box, gave the cashier that and my $10 off Wavebird coupon from the Nintendo Metroid bundle dealie. Out the door for $15 and change after taxes. That's my second <$20 Wavebird--gotta love that !

I've used both the Wavebird and the G3 Wireless controllers. They're both good. The Wavebird is slight better in terms of comfort--it fits in my hand better and is less bulky. The wireless feature on both of these units work great. The G3 supports the rumble feature and the motors don't feel cheap. Battery life on both units are about the same. If you turn the G3's rumble feature on, expect battery life to be about halved, but it's still a very long time. I got my G3 Wireless at BestBuy B&M for $24.99 (regular price) - 10% off (coupon).
