I ordered the original Matrix for $15.00, so now I'll get both of them for 15 bucks with FREE shipping! Buy.com hasn't had a deal this good for a while...

Sorry for the confusion, but it really read as it would be with any purchase. Too bad for buy.com, they lost my $15.00 order! 😉
 
And they don't have a deal this good now...There ain't gonna be any great deals at Buy.com now that Steve Blum's own money is on the line. When he was pissing away the money of his investors, that was another matter.

The beginning of the end for Buy.com, as far as I'm concerned, is the day they took away ALL phone support lines "in the interest of better customer service". Uh, yeah.

Oh, and the fact that they apparently got hacked some time ago and never fessed up to it. I know two people whose ONLY online purchase was at Buy.com, both of whom had to get new credit cards because of bogus charges that started appearing from some placein Europe...

I put the first Matrix in my basket and went to checkout but I do not see the Matrix reloaded or coupon in my basket???

It's not ANY purchase--it's only when you purchase one of the 16 items on the front page. The sale is here and the lowest priced item is $36.99:

Not a bad deal if you were going to buy one of those items anyway, otherwise not too fabulous. Personally, I think their ad is misleading.

I never preodred that far in advance. I think there will be a lot more deals for this soon. I may just hold out for the box set...
 
Wow, this is very misleading, on the left side of the page is shows "48 Hour Sale" with several catagories listed under it, including "DVD". If you click on DVD, you will find the original Matrix DVD. I can see how the OP might think that this DVD was included in the 48 hour sale.
 
If there other stuff wasn't so overpriced, or so useless this might be a hot deal...they are prob. just trying to clear their inventory of crap

That is EXACTLY what I did. It clearly says 48hour sale on the left hand side. I thought that was the column headline for all the links listed below. Cliked on DVD and ordered the original Matrix.

Talk about getting screwed over. I just canceled my order.

I am a big fan, and have seen it 3 times. It gets much better when you see it more than once. I really caught a lot the second time around.
It was very different from the first....but i still loved it!
