Warm? eVGA 8800GTS 320MB $270 flat from HWRebuild.com

Was checking out their prices on C2D CPUs in this thread, and I glanced over at their "what's new" box, and wondered how much cheaper they were offering it than the competition...

Lowest I can find on pricegrabber is 308 after tax/shipping/rebate, from Directron. Lowest price froogle found was 279.99 from Chiefvalue, but tax kills that.

So... hot?

EDIT: According to other thread, tax only in NY.

Check out the other threads for HWRebuild, looks like their service is pretty top-notch for a startup - orders processed quickly, shipped quickly, etc. Newegg needs some good competition, and this appears to be it.

I wonder how many people were leery of Newegg when it was a small company? Hehe.

The appeal of hwrebuild.com for me is that there's no sales tax for CA. I'm tempted to buy a C2D from there as well...

Rebate expires today. but I would rather have the security of purchasing from newegg for $10 more

I've ordered quite a few items from them since I'm in CA and do not have to pay taxes. They typically ship the same day if not the next day. Free shipping too. The items typically ship from a location that is closest to you. For example, all my orders shipped from CA.

I originally inquired about the eVGA 8800GTS 320MB with them and why they then added it to their catalog.

I am very leery of newegg that place sucks. They have a terrible return policy. Also they are generally more expensive. I spent way to much money there for there lack of customer service when i needed it. Oh and the 15% restocking fee is wonderful

NEWEGG Sucks
