TANGO & CASH? Yes! If you ever thought Hollywood could manage to put two horrible actors in the same movie and get a worse outcome, then this is your movie.

Good deals nonetheless.

Who here wouldn't be embarassed holding Tango and Cash in the check-out lane? Probably the same people that bought Get Carter last week.

I think my favorite scene from any of these movies was the airplane crash in Air Force One. It looked like it was filmed in some Production Assistant's bath-tub with one of those styrofoam airplanes with the wings that would break off after one afternoon of use. Aside from that, the movie was good. Wonder if the DVD extras show the bathtub.

(oh, and Telstar ... sorry for the duplicate handle ... I've been using this one for years ... didn't realize there was another one here)

Sounds like pretty corny movies, I guess I would go to half.com to buy the used one for $5.

Half.com doesn't list any of these titles for sale. They do have a lot of Three Stooges titles though. I guess everyone's view of corn is a little different.

The best part of T&C was at the beginning, when Sly stops a semi on a dime with his sidearm...and to top it off, the "bad dudes" comes flying thru the windshield like it was made of fine crystal.

Oh yeah...the quote he had in reply to the Rambo comment made...almost classic.

Almost...

it's true about Robin Hood. I bought it a couple of years ago and when I first put it in the player, it started in the middle of the movie. at first I thought it had a major scratch and jumped really far, but upon closer inspection there was a side A and B. big disappointment. don't know of a one-sided version.

same goes with the original release of Se7en. the newer collector's edition is one-sided.

I thought a major advantage of DVD's was that you didn't have to flip it like a laserdisc.

The orginal Stargate has to be flipped too. I think they have a newer version now though.

stargate too? sheesh. same problem with my current HK copy of Hard Boiled. DD5.1 and widescreen, but needs a flip. also have the US version with no flip, but it's full screen and mono. my cousin has a HK version with everything, no flip. I need to get a copy of that one.
