This sounds more like one dude and his sister selling crap outta their garage than an actual retail web site.
"My grandfather died?" MY grandfather died over this Christmas holiday, and the funeral was 200 miles away, but I STILL managed to go to work, get my shopping done, and finish all of my business before going to the funeral.
If he's in charge of a business, it's his JOB to get the stuff shipped out when times get tough! That is a lame excuse for a businessman. And I guarantee that the funeral didn't last for 3 whole weeks.
I can sympathize with your situation. I ordered the Dreamcast from Buy-Rite video games. In a word, they SUCK!!!! I got a confirmation email with an order number, but no tracking number, no notice that it had ever shipped out, and no notice that they had even finished processing my order. Their customer service number is a joke. It's a giant automated menu that doesn't have any people attached to it at all. If you press "0", it doesn't take you to customer service, it boots you to the main menu. Not only that, but according to their site, you CANNOT cancel an order for ANY reason. Once it's in their computer, according to them, it's too late.
Well, I thought that was a lot of BS. So, I tried calling them, but I couldn't even get to an answering machine. Eventually I found a contact page where I could write them a letter. I told them I wanted to cancel the order.
I haven't heard back from them since. I ordered on Dec. 26. It is now January 15. My credit card statement has yet to come. I'm gonna be megapissed if it has a Buy-Rite charge on it.
