Was in Office Depot today, and saw the Microsoft Sidewinder USB on clearance for $11.88.

Dunno, I cant even find the product at the OD website. Mine doesnt seem to mark down as quickly or as much as other ODs do, maybe there are better deals to be found.

It's not all ODs. The ones I checked in KC and Lawrence, KS had it for 29.88 today. One store in KC has the MS gamevoice for $11.88, others have it for $29.88 still. I am not going by what is written on the tag, but by actually having the courtesy clerk check out the SKU.

Saw them at Hoover, AL store today also. Joystick and gamevoice were both $17.88. They even had the Famous Amous cookies on clearance for $.88 - sweet, heheheh.

Saw the Sidewinder USB in Winston Salem for $11.88 on clearance. I own one of these, nice controller. I use it to play Motocross Madness 2. It also works well on a laptop.

Usually you can just tell the check out person that you saw a lower price at another office depot (local I am assuming) and they will check and give that price to you.

The OD in Newport News, VA had the same price on the sidewinder gamepad. They also had the Sidewinder Precision Pro on clearance for $19.88.

staples sells this for $17.99. actually, they sell two: one is for $19.97 and ships next day and another one for $17.99 and takes 3-5. they are the exact same item: the $19.97 one comes via courier and the $17.99 one comes from their special order warehouse (in ontario, ca i think). well, both come next day to LA and one is $2 cheaper. here are links:

i think most of the ODs here in memphis cleared out already of those at $9.88, sorry. it's an old thread that's been going on here awhile, if anybody's interested... you can probably type "sidewinder" in the search field here and find a couple of threads. if your OD isn't closing you'll see some clearance on them eventually.

Not bad. So if you can't find the controller at your OD or whatever, buy it online. I got the USB game pad pro for $24. Not too bad.
