Warm Deal - Globalwin FOP38 $25.49 shipped + FOP32-1 $22.49 shipped

This is my first deal posting so hopefully it is good. I was looking for a new heaksink and fan and decided to check out egay (for some unknown reason). Overclockedcpus.com is the seller. They have there own website but also sell on egay. Prices on their website are a little higher but they have this link supposedly for egay/paypal specials. Prices are a few dollars cheaper if you use the link and paypal.

I bought from them last night and I got a UPS shipping notification today. Pretty fast.
Superorb for $21.99 shipped
FOP32-1 $22.49 shipped
FOP38 $25.49 shipped

I found that at inflowdirect, these were the prices before shipping. By the way, I ordered the FOP-38, need to stablize my T-bird at 1 ghz

yeah, its is pretty loud...but it also brought my duron down 30 degrees(F). The heatsink/fan that they sold me with that chip was a piece of garbage!

Thanks! I was looking for that (EDIT: the FOP32-1) the other day, and the cheapest i found ANYWHERE, using ALL the pricewatch wannabe's was $25.75 delivered.

Price on the arctic silver isn't bad either =)

EDIT: BTW, both the FOP's are loud, in fact, the 38 variety sounds like a RC plane's gas motor, no kidding! It's loud, but it works... lowered my duron 600@1001 from 138F to 96F under full load... with arctic silver, of course :)

And, yes, the retail HSF units that come with some athlons (are there different versions of HSF on retail K7-CPGA-family chips?) and durons suck mad schmock.

I heard that it is really loud too but if it works that is all that matters to me. Really hope it cools my t-bird 800@ 1ghz down a little. It was really stable at first but I have been getting the blue screen of death lately.

They have a lot of positives on egay and mine was shipped a day after I ordered. I will update once I receive it.

they are the same hs but w/ different fan. the fop38 had a delta black label fan, and i think (not sure) the 32 has a sunon.

Just got mine today. They delivered as promised. That thing is loud but it really works. My cpu went from 38 degrees to 29 degrees. If you can take the noise this is a great buy. I had a coolmaster heatsink and fan before.

I know the Fan on the FOP38 needs so much power that you can not plug it into the motherboard
is this the same for thre FOP32 or can it be plugged into the Motherboard?
Thanks
