Oh, crap, flame me...The first set of prices is OEM, not retail..crap. Although WD honored my hard drive rebate with an OEM box.
But the 3000 retail is $111.00 or the two packages as I mentioned..

Purchase a retail packaged Voodoo 3 2000, 3000 or 3500 by Sept 30--$30 rebate. Voodoo Rebate

Vendor Site
They have it for $65 or you can buy a choice of two bundles, which you could probably sell off and end up with a free video card.

<< 3dfx Voodoo3 2000 and CD Informational Bundle - Chessmaster 4000, Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, Mindscape US Atlas, Mindscape World Atlas all for $71.99 >>

or

<< 3dfx Voodoo3 2000 and Panda AntiVirus Platinum Software Version 6.0 - $49.95 Value all for $74.95 >>

They also have the same bundles with the 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 AGP 16MB Retail Box for $117.99 and $120.95. I think this has TV out.

Shipping is by Fed Ex, the site says to call if it shows up high at checkout.

Total Price $45.90 and free shipping

EDIT: Oppps... PCI not ACP... Yuck!

ygreenkitty: How'd you get WD do honor your rebate without a UPC?

Or, buy the Voodoo3 3500 at buy.com for total of $115 including shipping, after $30 off $150 or more and $30 rebate. Not a great deal, but not too bad either.

Could someone comment on whether this card is worth getting or not. I figure for the price, it can't be that bad of a deal, but my concern is if the card is worth even that ($60) much money.

I personally find it is a very good 2D card for doing Windows 2000 work. Fast and does all the modes and refresh rates very good. You can increment refresh rate by 1Mhz at a time.

Nightwatch: I just crossed my fingers and sent in the information that was on the side of the envelope and brown box it was in. No UPC, but they sent the rebate anyway. I had bought it at either Ecost.com or Buy.com and the listing did not mention it was OEM.

Eyor--even at $55, I'd rather spend $105 on a Geforce 2 MX. See the latest firingsquad.com comparison of vid cards with a Duron. The GF2MX often has twice the framerate.

Actually, they're both good bargains, but I thought I'd put in my $0.02 for anybody doing an upgrade. As firingsquad points out, for $300, you can get a complete Duron 600(1000)/mobo/GF2MX setup.
