No reason why it would have to stay Linux, though. You could easily throw Windows on this and set it up for Grandma...
 
Thanks BooneRebel - I should have been more accurate about the specs. Its a nice second machine - or for someone as a "gift" or if you want to get
your toes wet with a Linux only machine. If u have an additional Lic from MS I guess you can load it up as well.
