Warm deal: Energizer AA flashlight at Office Depot

Not your typical deal (flashlight), but this is a nice little light that includes 8 AA batteries and is damn bright. It's the Energizer Double Barrel and has a nice halogen bulb. I bought one for my car, one for my wife's car, and one for home. At $5 per light with the batteries (it uses all 8), it's not bad at all (clearance rack).

Oh hell yeah. I am going to pick these up at my local Office depot tomorrow. I was going to buy one but they were $20 each!! Hey if my local office depot doesn't have them on clearence, could you pick up 3 of them for me? I'll pay for shipping too! I'll let you know tomorrow if my local office depot doesn't carry them.

Considering 8 Energizer AA batteries alone cost $6.00 at places like this, I think that this classifies as a "hot" deal.

Yep! Definately, but it might be a typo, i'm not sure if it's 8 batteries, since the ones at my local office depot had only 6 batteries. Also this might be a store specific clearence, because my store didn't have any for clearence, they costed $9.99 each.

Yes, I was wondering if this was a store specific one, but this is the second time they have had the same flashlight for the same price.

interesting. My OFFICE DEPOT had a sweeter deal. this red eveready or energizer I think. tool box with three different flashlights. 6 d cells. and 4 AA batteries all for only $9.88 . I asked the manager if this was a local deal and he said no this was in all the stores. I was gonna pick one up, but didn't have enough cash on me right then. its a really great deal, I am gonna go back and get one. I mean a toolbox, three flashlights, 6 d batteries, and 4 AA batteries for just ten bucks. this definately a hot deal. see if you can find it at your office depot.

Hey Cool! thanks for the info Raj, I am going to go pick that up too I am one of those weird guys that can't get enough of flash light. Just the fear of not having one in an emergency freaks me out you know

I went to Radio Shack, looks like the package is decent, but not the best package. It's actually $12 at my store. It comes with the batteries as stated (but they are RADIO SHACK brand), it also comes with an AM/FM portable radio. Lookslike a nice kit, but the quality of the flashlight (my main purpose) is really poor quality, almost like a toy. Anyway, was that the package you were refering to?

Andrew, were you able to pick up any flashlights for me? I still want those double barrel shotguns, i mean flashlights
