DAMN! I waiting too long trying to find reviews.

Price went back up. $159.99AR

Looks like it was a mistake.

EDIT: Doh! I thought the $159 was after the $40MIR. My mistake.

BUY! BUY! BUY! :)

You sure? I'm still seeing 119... it's 159 after $40 instant rebate and then there is a $40 MIR.

Definately the G.Skill DRR500 will OC better.

Ah... did some reasearch - People don't seem to all like the c2pt because of it only doing cas 2.5 on AMD systems... BUT that seems to only be for the 2x512.

Check THIS out. Says 2-3-3-6 on intel and amd systems.

I have an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe.

Does anyone know if running with all 4 slots populated causes this mobo to run in single channel mode? I know it used to but has this been fixed in firmware?

Am going to pick up this memory if it has been fixed.

Hmm... from the manual: "For dual-channel configuration, the total size of the memory module(s) installed per channel must be the same for better performance (DIMM_A1+DIMM_A2=DIMM_B1+DIMM_B2)."

Sounds like you can use 4.

I do believe it auto goes to 333 with all four slots filled, but if your gonna OC and lower the divider anyway then it wouldn't matter. These aren't super overclocking ram. Prolly up to 230 or so.

Wow, I just ordered 2 gigs of Value Select CAS3 for $133. Son of a fvcking bitch...

EDIT: WHOOO scratch that, I was able to cancel and got in. Maybe a price mistake? Cause when you search for the item it's listed as $197 - $40MIR, but when you actually click on it the $40IR appears. They're also doing 'routine maintenance' so I can't check on my order status, hopefully that won't fvck things up and the order has already gone through.

Are these going to be OK in a DFI NF4 Ultra board? I keep reading about Corsairs & DFI boards, but is it only the ones labled value-ram?

EDIT: Re: "How's the rebate?" - I've been pouring through the reviews and there are several complaints aobut the rebate center. Still, if you keep good records and stay persistant (I would for $50) I'm sure you'll get it in about 3 mos (from what others have said).

Probably he had a free $10 promo code for attending a 60 minute Microsoft webinar at some time. That's over now.

ChubbyWallet (here we go again :confused;), has a post with all the cons in the Newegg reviews about not received rebates, and I skimmed the reviews at Newegg and noticed some, (I know not all buyers post reviews), with bad sticks of ram.

Thanks OP.

I had this on my DFI SLI-DR for awhile. Let's just say I decided to sell it and get something else.

I currently have 1GB of RAM at 237Mhz at 3-4-3-8, and I'm looking to get a 2GB kit to replace it.. should I get these and run them at 2-2-2-5, and drop the RAM divider so it runs closer to 200Mhz, or should I go for high bandwidth RAM to make up for the lower latency? Anyone have any suggestions?
