Here is my find, seems like a very nice deal.

A company called Graphical Learning is
offering free computer learning CDs on a variety of subjects. I've
just ordered their courses for using MS Windows XP and MS Office and hopefully they will get here soon.

They charge 6.95 for shipping, but the lessons are free.

The site is at http://www.4free.nu/video/

I've seen that bald dude running commercials on TV.

I was thinking of buying this for a few people who keep asking me to "teach them about computers".

if one needs to learn how to use computer, how can he/she learn that thru computer software on computer media? assume he/she doesn't know how to run a program, use the cd-rom drive, etc yet.

I like the comericals....they make me laugh.

The old guy is holding "state of the art current software"

Yeah...titles like Windows 98, Windows ME, Office 97 (in the background), Office 2000.

Wow....I must be from the future.....

The best way is to just get into it.....teach people how to use the MS-Help files....they can really help, if you use them.

My $.02

Did Anyone Read the Fine Print?

  • HERE?S HOW IT WORKS ?

The bonus gift and ANY TWO of the three Computer Software Lessons are yours FREE without further obligation. PERIOD. Take 10 days to decide if you want to keep the complete set of lessons. After your 10 day free trial, if you decide to keep the complete set, we?ll conveniently bill your credit card just $59.95. Or simply call our customer care number at 1-800-525-7763 if you decide to return any one of the lessons, and you will be charged nothing! In either case, the gift and your choice of any two of the three levels of computer learning are yours to keep FREE. Compare this to offers totaling over $150! It?s a value that no one passes up!

So... TWO of the three disks are free.... you have 10 days to get the third one back to them, or they charge you $59.95!

I'm guessing that they think most people won't get around to it in time and will have to eat the $60.
