Maybe not quite hot, but IMO at least a little warm, take a look here for a Duron 900 with chaintech 7aia5e motherboard with cheap heatsink and fan for $61.31 plus shipping. They also offer the Duron 1.2 gig with same board for $75.76. The board is a micro atx format, Via KT133E chipset so doesn't support 133 fsb, which rules out running one of the cheap XP1600+ cpus, but for a cheap functional web surfer, office type machine it should work great. Maybe even some mild gaming thrown in, with the right video card. What do you think?

It's warm enough. I'm trying to upgrade my sister's old HP Pavillion. So, compared to 233 mHz this will fly.

Thanks for posting.

Actually the KT133E did run 133MHz CPUs, but it wasn't an official speed rating. I came out at the same time as the KT133a and from what I remember, most reviewer thought that it was the same chip on cheaper boards...

I could be wrong...

I have the similar full size (5 PCI slots, 3 DIMM slots) AJA2E, and it lacks the 100/133 jumper and the soft BIOS only allows up to 130 Mhz fsb, so mine won't run 133 processors, (unless they can be autodetected by BIOS upgrade, haven't gotten a definitive answer on that yet) But still for a decent upgrade and ability to use existing PC100 or PC133 ram, I still think it is a good deal. I ordered from sybercom before and they offered reasonable shipping charges and shipped promptly.
