5 bucks for a movie rental, wowzers! I remember the days when my local rental store offered movies at $1 per night.
Anyway, do you guys know whether or not Blockbuster has that deal were for $20 per month you get to take out one dvd per night? I think Blockbuster had this deal last summer.
<< $2 off any pre-viewed VHS or Game. At least here in the east. YMMV >>
yes it's only on VHS or games not dvds. the store i went to had the signs up above the dvds so all i saw was $2 off and brought my dvds up. the clerk then says someone put the sign their by mistake and it's only on the tapes :|.
must be nationwide. same thing going on in SF, CA.
Hrm...the prices up here in Alaska at BB aren't that much, it's $3.99/movie. I just got a couple of movies using the coupon though, so I'm already set for the weekend 🙂
4 bucks per rental and you can only keep the movie for 2 nights and have to return it by noon...if there's a hollywood video near you, go there...same price but you can keep the movie for 5 days
Blockbuster offers (here in NY) "5 Day Rentals" for non-new releases. However, it's really 4 days, given you have to have the things back by noon on the 5th day. And, of course, unless you plan it right, that usually falls on a work day, so the night before is the time you have to have them back. Their selection in my small store sucks. Tried Netflix, but they only have a west coast warehouse, so turnaround time was high. I'm going to try Rentmydvd.com because they are bi-coastal, and assign warehouses by zip code. Warehouses in CA and NJ.

not true. you should count from the day that you rent. so you actually have 5 1/2 days for the rental.
Wluk:
Not true.Slikkster is right. The 5 day rental is just that. Five days. Rent on Friday, and it's due noon on Tuesday. It's 5days and 4 nights. Same rental with Hollywood Video and it would be due Wednesday at Midnight. Blockbusters are 5 days-4 nights. Hollywood Video are 5 night rentals so you literally get an extra 36 hours over the Blockbuster rental. Check it out on the Blockbuster box when you rent. It will tell you when it's due from the day you rent it.
