BestBuy has the PNY 700MB 16x CD-R Discs 100-pack for $27.99 and there is a $10 rebate. This deal was mentioned a couple weeks ago on this forum, but at that time my store was selling them for $40. This was in the Sunday flyer...
This is mostly a B&M deal, as they seem to charge $4.00 for shipping... which would make the Kingston 50-pack 12x at Outpost.com a better deal.
Rebate is good until 1/27/2001 and is on their web site (always print it right away, many sites seem to remove them after sale ends).
I know PNY isn't the best brand, but hey, my Iomega (Plextor) 12x seems to work with anything! As mentioned, Kingston 50 12x at Outpost for $13 with free shipping is benchmark deal... but getting PNY's for $9 50-pack is worth the trouble.
My advice; If you have a store, do an online order for pickup. That way you don't go down there and find out they are sold out! They do NOT charge extra for this.
