Go to Dell.com and search for Nostromo.

They have the Nostromo N50 SpeedPad--which is GREAT for gaming--for $22.95 (MSRP $35.99). Add a 10% off coupon and apply their discounted shipping and you get it for about $22 shipped! Not bad!

Here's a review.

I have one of these and they are ok. The big problem is that you have to hold your hand curled backwards (fingers up in the air). The new usb "claw" is much more comfortable, but it is more money.

curled backwards? Not sure what you mean by that. I have one and have no problems with hand placement. Its very well shaped for my hand. Are you using it with or without the insert?

Can this be used as a one-handed keyboard replacement? I've heard about one-handed keyboards which allow quick touch-typing with only a few keys, which when pressed in various combinations, correspond to all the normal characters on a conventional keyboard. Does this double as one of those? I'm not interested in the gaming aspects of it.

The review of it from PC Gamers magazine is pretty good.
For $22 shipped, it's a good price.

I don't have one since I have a similar one from Saitek (not as good as N50, but it's only $9.99 with mouse at Frys, it's now back to $19.99)
