Warm: Apple Education Store: Ipod Video 30GB-$269 60GB-$369

Apple Store for Education is offering $30 off the Ipod with video with free shipping. Unfortunately, you might still have to pay sales tax if there is an Apple Retail Store in your state. (I had to pay sales tax, sigh.) Not a huge price break, but I thought it was worth a thread.

they will take it..

It works if you go to the apple store, but they need to see your school id and they also input your drivers license number into their system so that you can't use it again

too bad the video ipod can't play dvd files, or SVCDs (MPEG-2), or VCDs (MPEG-1)... hopefully they'll add support for these in the future

No, you are allowed to get only one item per school year. For example, you can get one ipod, notebook...etc with the student discount per school year...looky here from the websites "Shopping Agreement"

Who is Eligible To Purchase
The following education individuals are eligible to purchase through the Apple Store for Education individuals:


Faculty or staff member of a public or private Higher Education Institution in the United States
Student currently attending or accepted into a public or private Higher Education Institution in the United States
Purchase Quantity
Faculty, Staff and Students purchasing from the Apple Store for Education Individuals will be allowed to purchase the following quantities of product per academic school year:


Desktop: One (1) may be purchased per academic year
Mac mini: One (1) may be purchased per academic year
Laptop: One (1) may be purchased per academic year
Display: A maximum of two (2) may be purchased per academic year
Software: A maximum of two (2) per software title may be purchased per academic year
iPod: One (1) per iPod family (iPod, iPod mini, iPod Shuffle 1GB, iPod Photo) may be purchased per academic year (Note: there is no quantity limitation on iPod Shuffle 512MB)
iSight: One (1) may be purchased per academic year
**The above purchases can be made either online or through your Authorized Campus Reseller. Total product quantities remain the same regardless of where you purchase is made.
