As far as I know Compaq uses CompactFlash or MMC memory chips. The only stuff that uses Sony memory sticks is Sony products, go figure.

be warned if they are out of stock (and they won't list that on their web site before or after you order) it may take up to 3 months before they ship, I'm still waiting on my 64MB compact flash I ordered on Halloween and they said it will be after christmas before they ship, with no guarantees on the shipping date.

Probably not an ad.. Tigerdirect has been around a lot and pretty much anyone whose done deals on these forums knows their reputation. They have good deals every once in a while but always approach with caution because they aren't known for their good customer service.
