It is not fair that us 939 folks have 3800+ X2s going up in price while the AM2s stay around $150. I don't want to buy new memory (yet).

Smart move to charge more for the socket 939 X2s, I have an AM2 X2 though, great cpu.

Do these overclock very well? Would there be much improvement over my XP 64 3000+ overclocked to 2600mhz?

Yeah, I just noticed that the 939 chips are now going up in price. This is a nice deal.

On a side note outpost.com is now frys.com. Even the logo has been changed to Frys.com. Don't know when this happened... Hopefully this might lead to more in store deals available online.

I heard the overclock very well. Btw I am upgrading from a A64 3000+ as well, except mine only got up to 2400Mhz. I figure I'll use the 3000+ in my MythTV box wich is currently at a AXP 2500+. Funny thing is that the 3800 X2 is the same price as my 3000+ was when I bought it.
