Warm? 2 x 25 pack Memorex 8x DVD-R or DVD+R - $20

Searched and didn't find anything on this...

While picking up a cd at a Detroit-area Media Play, I stumbled across a sign saying this deal:

2 x 25packs (50 discs total for the reading impaired) of 8x Memorex DVD-R's or DVD+R's for $20.00.

It seemed like a decent deal, so I picked a couple up. I really doubt these are Taiyo Yudens or the equivalent, but it might be worth looking at for some of you guys. I would check to see what they are, but I unfortunately don't have a dvd drive at work (don't I wish).

I don't know if this is a local deal or chain-wide.

How is that a better deal? It's EXACTLY the same, except you get two 25 packs as opposed to one 50 pack.

even if the memorex's are CMC i haven't had a single problem with them with my lite-on 411s (i mostly burn data discs, but even the movies that i'ved burned have worked perfectly)
