CD organizers are typically something like $15 for a 75-CD version (at WalMart, for example). Sam's Club has a CaseLogic 152-CD carrying case, plus a bonus 10-CD "car visor" unit, for $9.91. Just the thing for all of those hot deal CDR's...

Awesome.. I'm always in the need for these. But is it a hard or soft case? Are they sleeves with pages of 2 or 4?

Soft case, 4 to a page. It has a binder (non-openable, however), which is a better construction than the Fellowes units that I have bought previously.

Bump--this is by far the best price I have seen. 72-CD organizers are $14.95 at stores such as WalMart and OfficeMax. That makes this deal 1/3 the price per CD.

The sku# is long gone, sorry, and I'm not near a Sams right now. I've seen this organizer in Sams in Kansas City, Topeka, and Wichita, but I suppose it could still have regional availability. Before this one showed up, they had a 228 CD unit for $19.00, which had fake leather and a handle. This one is nylon & doesn't have a handle.

In each store, it was near the portable CD players (also near the keyboard synths, cell phones, clock radios, etc.).

I just went to my local Sam's Club. No cd organizers/albums at all. The closest thing they had was this caselogic 42cd album w/ a seat organizer for 19.99 checked the electronics section (tvs, dvd's, software, vhs tapes, cdr's area) and the office supply section and there's nothing there.

I had 3 people looking around for it also, but they still couldnt find anything. Went the Walmart next door, and they still had the 200cd album for 39.99 one at that price is enough for me :) .....Well, at least service at Sam'sClub is pretty good. They appeared to search everywhere.

Onvia has a 200 CD "Koskin" organizer with handle for $29.12 shipped.

Onvia

Computers4sure has the same thing for $29.99 + 5.50. I've lost track of whether they still have some sort of discount coupon.

C4Sure

And here's the shopper.com search return that gave me the above:

Cyberrebates.com has a 48 cd folder free after rebate. That is, if you don't mind shelling out $47, that you won't see for a few months. Has anyone here dealt with cyberrebates?Cyberrebates.com

jwinter1, I think that cyberrebates has a pretty good reputation on this board, although I have read a few complaints. Just the thought of someone charging $47 for a 48 CD organizer pisses me off, so I wouldn't do this. Cyberrebate will make money from charging interest while they hold your rebate.

You also run the risk that this will be another dot-com to go belly up, or even that there is a legitimate mistake.

I don't know about regional, I didn't find any in the Overland Park Sam's. Creme, think you could pick one up for me if you run across them? I'm in Lawrence right now.

its from sentry, roomy, fake leather type but was free... quality doesn't seem too cheap....

well worth the wait... (my 2 cents...)

Apologies to all--I had no way of knowing which Sams stores would carry what. Fwiw, the Sams stores here in Kansas have been carrying CD organizers for at least 9 months, with the deals getting progressively better (228 CD/$28, 228 CD/$19, 152 CD/$9). Perhaps some of you could request that your Sams start to carry these.
