Saw this at Staples today.

100-pk Imation CD-R 24x or 32x (the tag said 32x, but the packaging said 24x)
SKU 437974 - $32.94 - 25 MIR = $7.94 + tax

Not a bad deal after the mail in rebate. Good luck! 😀

pick up 2 for $66 +tax and use the 10 off 40 for 200 CDRs for $6 + tax

NOTE: One rebate per name/family/address.

If you purchase both on the same Staples receipt as you suggested to use the Staples $$ coupon, one will get denied so your 200 CD-R deal quickly turns into a cold deal. Parago aka Staples rebate center is extremely anal about this stipulation and will not allow two rebate requests for the same item on the same receipt even if you purchased more than one and used two different addresses. The reason given - "Rebate not transferrable".

that's why i have them print out two receipts =) it's worked plenty of times for me

EDIT:
Due to popular demand I've included this disclaimer: YMMV! Don't try this at home (or online kiddies!)

<< that's why i have them print out two receipts =) it's worked plenty of times for me >>

You can "print out" as many as you like, but Parago uses the Staples store transaction ID and rebate promotion number as the unique idenitfiers for your rebate request. I don't see how i"it's worked plenty of times for me" when many others who have been rejected by Staples in the past for this very reason. If you check the in-store rebate form that you received you will also see that it states the rebate is not transferrable. Don't mislead others who may be ignorant to this stipulation and purchase these thinking that they can send in two rebates to two different address using the same Staples store receipt.

<< hehe.. liked that so much better that i did it myself, 60.49 before rebates 🙂 >>

like GetReal said you did a booboo...hehe ....I mentioned this deal in marill's BB thread as a possible buy at BB then goto Staples buy there go back to BB to get your PM of $7.70 ...I bought one at Staples(in-store) with my 10 off 40 w/ a Brother fax cartridge that I needed ( one transaction)bought the Visioneer 8100 w/ a Coke to use my 20 off 100 gave the Visioneer to my sis who was ecstatic( hey gotta keep girl(s) happy 🙂 ) as I have to run the second(lol..yeah bought two ) Staples spindle(buy with cash...no cc or checking acc't tie back in ) thru her anyhow. Just had to press the peeps at Staples B&M as they had stashed those spindles behind the counter again.

Hey...I did a search on that SKU and it doesn't even come on Staples website. This deal is only available in stores??? Just called up Staples and they said that there isn't a mail in rebate on that either.

it is an in-store special which means it is possible there aren't any there you have to go look and here is the rebate form as Perry Saturn usedta say "your welcome" 😀

Wow, nice heads up. Ill go buy a pack.

I just wish I could apply a coupon to make this HOT 🙂

*edit* Yay! There is now a $10 off of $40 printable coupon floating around, I think I can find something to make this deal worth it 😉 *edit*

Scrap Silicion....you are right....it is an in-store special and I found the rebate form on Staples Rebate site.....Spankz....Just grabbed me a spindle from a Philadelphia Staples.....One thing I did notice was that on the actual receipt, it came up as "100 Pk CDR 32x" and on the actual product labeling itself, it says 24x.....Wierd......There is no SKU # written on my receipt either.....Also, on the rebate form, it says model #66000001843 (SKU 437974) and this is no where on the actual product itself. Ah well, gonna give it a shot and mail it in...hopefully, they'll mail me back $25.00!

$32.94 + $2.31 tax = $35.25 - 25.00 (MIR) = $10.25 final cost.

This is the same deal as the Presidents Day sale at Staples. I missed out on it, but the manager was nice enough to honor the rebate for me even though it expired. He took off the rebates in the store, and I walked out happily with 2 spindles fo $14. 🙂 The rebate form says only one per household/per name/per address, so I don't know about buying 2...if it works, then more power to you 😛

Edit: Sorry about the mis information before.

I just called the STAPLES rebate center( not the CSR this time ), the person there said that only UPC code 051122411861 will be valid for the rebate, which is the 24x 100pack.

The 32x 100pack in some store will NOT be valid for the rebate, since it has a different UPC code.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement there both my copies of my already mailed submissions( my sister loves me..hehe...the Visioneer works spectacularly well much better than that HP3300 from 2 yrs ago ) correspond with your findings($89.88-$50=$39.88-$20 for fax cartridge= $10 per 100CDRs...burn excellently too ) and Outkast4eva hope you make/made copies of all submitted documentation...for as we here at AT know the rebate houses have been known to 'lose' things..as always YMMV.
