WarioWare: Smooth Moves for Wii

I just picked WarioWare: Smooth Moves for the Wii and while I haven't passed it yet, it is extremely fun and addicting and the microgames are hilarious. I found myself laughing at how wierd some of the games are. The artwork is really cool and the way you hold the Wiimote on the different games is very inventive. Gamespot gave it a 9.1 which is the highest a Wii game has gotten so far. I have not gotten my friends over to play it yet as i want to finish the story before I do but I can expect it to get crazy because the microgames get faster and faster the more you play which makes it harder. This is a must have for the Wii.

Gamespot Review

Edit: I spent about 4 or 5 hours playing and I finally unlocked multiplayer.

You have to UNLOCK multiplayer?

Yeah but you can do it in a day real easy

The problem with multiplayer is that you have to use 1 wii mote you cant use any others, so you have to pass it around quickly

Are you kidding me? That game was pretty much built for a fun multiplayer game. Having to unlock it and only using one remote really makes me wonder what was going through their heads.

That shouldn't make you wonder what was going through their heads. What SHOULD make you wonder that, is the bizarre, almost drug-induced-stupor kind of creations they came up with to fill this game up. Seriously. This game is more wacked out than the Winnie the Pooh ride at Disneyland, which previously I thought was designed by designers hopped up on acid.

Well hey, its Nintendo, mang!

seems like several games for the wii are, just in fact, a series of mini games.

warioware, raving rabbids, wiiplay, etc

Why don't they just focus on bringing quality full length games to the wii, aka, Zelda, twilight princess style games, instead of this mishmash of quirky mini game crap..

Guys, guys, guys, the system has only been out for a few months. Of course the games are going to be simplistic. I believe in the next year you will have many games that will start to use the Wii to it's potential. Right now you are seeing games with minimilistic programming just so the Wii has a library.

We all know that tennis, baseball, golf can be much improved upon and I think the big name developers will do that in the next year or two.

I dunno. rabbids was a hilariously funny playing through with my friend. Wario was cool too, but definitely needs 5+ people. and maybe $40, unless you regularly have that many people around (I'm thinking college... but those days are long gone for me)
