So I've been watching this on "syfy" (still a gay name change) for 6 weeks now and it's getting better. Last night's episode, while being great in some ways (Joan Kelly in a short black dress) had a terrible ending. How, pray tell, does Alice (who has a coin allowing her to see the future) allow herself to be trapped so easily? and Why does Myka allow Artie off the hook so easily at the end when he once again alludes to something without explaining it (the reason she can't stand him in the first place)? It's just like the invisible Samurai from the episode before, do you really think after being stabbed in the chest Artie had enough strength to prevent our main series villain from extracting the ultra sharp blade?

Yea, it's a fun show, but it's not really a "high end" production, unfortunately. Rather lame because the premise is pretty awesome, but the execution is that of a low budget show, which is what this is, sadly.

Been enjoying it somewhat, keep watching it hoping it gets better but missed last night.

I'd have to say that Alice didn't see it coming, because the coin only works while you're rubbing it. And since the after-effect is painful (shown every time someone used it), you're not going to rub it all the time. Besides, if you're always watching what's going to happen a minute from now, it's rather hard to negotiate the real world, ya know??

Besides, I was busy watching Joanne Kelly AND Erica Cerra (Deputy Jo Lupo from SyFy's show, Eureka). Man, that's one fine lookin' pair of females!!

I had the first half dozen episodes on the dvr and just caught up within about the last week. It seems to be a rather decent show, which by scifi standards says a lot.

Watched the first couple of episodes, and it just did not appeal to me.

What I find really odd is that all 5 guys I eat lunch with watch the show, but it can't even inspire 5 minutes of conversation. Lost, Heroes, Fringe and many other shows can all inspire hours worth of debate

I have not seen the most recent episode, but so far I like the show. I don't think it is mind-blowing awesome, but it isn't too bad. Especially so considering that the SciFi channel (screw that dumbass name change) doesn't have the best track record for programming - well at lest since they killed SciFi Friday.

they have exactly eureka and that all I can stand to watch now. god only knows what they play the other 166 remaining hours minus warehouse and eureka repeats. oh that's right, wrastlin.

The sword thing didn't bother me, but otherwise I agree with you. The psycho woman with a token letting her see the future getting captured is hard to swallow.

To be fair, it only gives you 10-15 seconds. And I think it would be difficult to use continuously (such as while trying to walk and do other stuff).

My main issue with the show was having Jo and Zane running around. A little distracting, but I still thought it was one of the best so far. The Alice character was freaky as hell.
