LMAO... what's your Bnet account ?
The computer set on normal is difficult to beat. Scouting is important. Build a gyrocopter or 2 & have them patrol around the map.. If you know when & where the opponent will attack, it's much easier to repel. If you use Orcs get some witch doctors & throw down plenty of seeing wards or Night Elf, be sure to research the sentinel upgrade for your hunts. Both are excellent, excellent spells. Try to put sentinels somewhere awkward to reach, like on a tree within a row of trees if you can reach it. That way they can't just cut down the tree, have to cut down 2-3 trees or dispel it. Of course - the computer doesn't care about your sentinels or seeing wards, so that tip might not be so useful unless playing on Bnet.
Here's a pretty standard build order that I use for humans.
4 peasants -> Gold
1 peasant -> Build Altar, then harvest wood.
Queue 2 peasants.
1st peasant out -> Build Farm, then harvest wood.
**Try to use your Altar & first farm to force your gold mining peasants into a straighter line.**
2nd peasant -> Build Barracks, then harvest wood.
Queue 2 more peasants. Both go to wood. (unless your farm+altar didn't do enough to allow 4 peasants to mine at full speed, in which case throw another peasant on gold)
After that, you're on your own. Scout & try to produce units that can counter your opponents.
