If you're lucky enough, as my little brother's friend was, check out Best Buy... they got conflicting messages today... one said sell, one said wait til Tues 7/1... so this store started selling them. He was lucky enough to pick up a copy today before they got pulled from the shelves. $39.99 + tax. It was the BB in MN, on 494 and Lyndale. Good luck.

 
im not liking FT much...warcraft is turning more diablo and RPG like and less RTS or WARCRAFT like. I'm very dissapointed, this is why i went and installed red alert 2 again.
 
Is there more than the one sentinel campaign and the bonus one (which is stupid, it only has one chapter and you have to "download" the rest of it later)? I'm halfway through the sentinal but I don't know if I want to continue if it's going to end there 🙁
 
blizzard's expansions are always $40 regular price afaik... someone usually has them on sale for $30 or less opening week though.
 
should have made a starcraft 2 for PC and not XBOX!

then i would have bought it for 40.00 no problem
 
There is a night elf, human, undead and orc campaign. The orc campaign doesn't tie in with the other 3 though.

Dude you have to BEAT the sentinel campaign to go onto the other campaigns...

In other words, yes there are more campaign(s) than the Night Elf and Bonus one. I'm not sure how many more since I'm only partway through the one after the Sentinel one.

I wouldn't even have gotten that far, but I'm an impatient person and some of those missions are just really tedious so I just cheated my way through =P I'm sure I could have beat it the legit way, but that takes time. On the other hand you can't just do the instant win cheat since you would skip half the plot. Dammit!

I'm not digging Frozen Throne too much either...it feels like one big playability patch for Warcraft III!!! And a lot of the stuff really doesn't "gel" with the original game and seems kind of...random. Well, at least the Sentinel campaign seems really random.

 
The expansion is just one big setup for WoW, once you beat it you will understand why. If the other side had won then WoW wouldn't be half as exciting...
 
What's with blizzard's expansions taking place in cold places? d2:lod is in harrogath, wc3:ft is in... some cold place, dunno the name... well, I guess just those two. Seems kind of repetitive (sp?) though.
 
I'm waiting for the prices to drop.....$40 is too much for the expansion, ill wait till 20$ish deals come around.....
 
yeah i beta tested FT as well...

and i actually enjoyed it... but it took a while to get used to it... all these new heroes and spells and argh...

frustrating... but yeah... i think i'm going to wait to buy the retail version for a while as well...
 
It retails for $35 I belive...and there are other deals, too. Like, @ BB, u get it, a $10 gift certificate, and a WC3 action figure for that price. So, come on. WC3 is a great game, and I can't wait for this to be released, although I will be on vacation in Cali at the time :\...

I agree, this expansion is going to kill Warcraft III, the single player will be ok, but multiplayer will just suck.
