I have to disagree with the wording on the License.

You can't sell auction or transfer a REPRODUCTION. Nor rent lease or license THE PROGRAM. So you can SELL the PROGRAM...

eh?? That's the way I am reading my pink piece of paper I got in my Fedex envelope... 🙂

Oh and if your pink paper says that, then why is ebay.com taking down the auctions? If it was legit, then I would think ebay would keep it up. Otherwise, they take it down if it's illegal to sell.

They're legitimate as long as the user hasn't agreed to to the terms of service.

And thus, no contract was broken.

I believe you had to agree to the TOS if you wanted to even sign up for the beta.

I got my Cd in the mail yesterday. My vid card right now is not up to it (swapped them since i signed up), and first thing that came to my head was "Sell it!", then I saw that it's not allowed, so I gave it to my friend to play. I'll be over at his place this weekend to check it out.

well knowing blizzard's betas, you're paying for six months of time when nobody has the game 🙂

I don't think I'd keep mine for a hearty $400.
For that much I could buy a brand new great cpu and mobo or video card. 'course, nothing to run on it, but i'd have it 🙂

I'd sell it, why the heck not?

It's not like I can play it after I sell it, if so then I could see the problem. Who cares if I give my spot away to someone else? No one will know the difference, and someone who is willing to spend $400 on the game would definitely play more than I, and thus help the beta out more than if I kept it.

Some people need to loosen up, yeesh.

It really pisses me off, actual people who wanted to play werent lucky enough, but you see these guys who all they do is sell the stuff on ebay. They just ruin it all for everyone.
