me and my brother and sister all want to play warcraft 2 on lan. the only options for a lan game is for IPX. i dont believe we have IPX, so we cant get a game to work. is there anyway we can ply a lan game without purchasing the battle.net edition?

If you have windows 2k or windows xp, go into your network properties, and then your connection properties, and add or install nwlink and set a static number. That should allow you to connect to each other

just go to the network connection properties and install IPX.

Windows XP and 2000 can just add it alongside TCP/IP.. it's how I would play Starcraft over my lan.

Go to your network connection then..

properties>install>service>add>ipx.

Just install the IPX protocol as said above.

Or you can get Kali, it used to be free, but I don't think it is anymore. It lets you play on the Internet on Kali servers.

The Battlenet version of Warcraft 2 is like 10 bucks and it comes with full TCP/IP support.

Yes, it should be in the bargain bin area of any gaming store, or you can order it from Blizzard's online store. It's worth it, especially if you haven't played the Dark Portal expansion set (it comes with it).

I have seen it at just about every Gamestop and Electronics Botique in every mall I have been to here in NJ.

If not just buy it online for $10.
